Description

Under the motto "Connecting generations," this circular route was created in Mandach in 2014. The path is largely pram-friendly and also wheelchair accessible on a section. The route can be started at the church fountain in the village center and leads north towards Rotbündt. At the forest entrance, there is an ascent through the ravine to the fireplace „Neue Reben“. Continuing through the forest, the path passes the witches' hut to the Redlisacher viewpoint with a magnificent view of the Mettauertal valley up to the Black Forest. Passing the remains of the Wessenberg ruin, it goes on to Bessenberg. After the descent, the Bench Path runs together with the Raftmen’s Path above the Spatzenmatt with a view of the village. After a detour to the Vineggli viewpoint, the mountain can be completely circled, mostly on a grassy path above the Cholacher and Hinterrain farms, before returning to the village.
