Lü - S-charl

Transfer by PostBus to Lü. From Lü, the route climbs gently along the forest road to Alp Champatsch. This is followed by a short, steep section to the Pass da Costainas, the highest point of this hike. The hiking trail leads through the high valley to Alp Astras (open in summer). The trail then continues gently up and down on the right-hand side of the valley through the highest Swiss stone pine forest in Europe, the God da Tamangur. From point 2018, the forest road descends slightly to S-charl, the end point of the hike. For this last stretch, we recommend following the path along the Clemgia. The PostBus takes you from S-charl to Scuol-Tarasp.
