Limmat Cultural Route

The current 28 works by artists from Aargau and the surrounding areas are maintained by the Stiftung Kulturweg Limmat, founded from the project, and the associated municipalities of Baden, Neuenhof, and Wettingen.

Sculpture in Transition The freely and ground-level placed sculpture without an official or representative function emerged in the late 19th century. Additionally, the range of materials used expanded: besides wood, stone, and bronze, iron, aluminum, plastics, or glass are also used today, incorporating photography, movement, and light.
