Legend trail Safiental

Like many other mountain valleys, the Safiental also has a rich and diverse treasure of legends and stories. Legends are not just fairy tales. Although these orally transmitted stories sometimes also appear in other valleys, they always have a direct connection to the landscape and therefore a special significance.

Ten illustrated panels point to the legends at the place of the events. Anyone who looks around a bit will then understand why, for example, there are so many stones in the Bächer Forest or can imagine the Wättermannli on Camana very well.
