Laschadura – Ivraina

The start is at Zernez train station. The path first leads through the village and then on the hiking trail along the Ofenpass road. After 2.4 km, follow the Ofenpass road for 200 m, cross it, and follow the hiking trail towards Alp Laschadura. The path initially ascends steeply through the forest before leveling off. After 6.4 km, you reach Alp Laschadura, located exactly at 2000 m above sea level. From here, continue through the typical larch forest to Alp Ivraina, which lies on a beautiful plain. From Ivraina to Ova Spin, follow the so-called Narrenweg, which is quite steep. You can end the hike at Ova Spin and take the PostBus back to Zernez or continue along the hiking trail along the Ofenpass road. This further path is worth it not only to visit the old lime kiln at Champsech, where lime was formerly burned and used as an important component of mortar for plaster. Via Taglieda, you reach the Laschadura parking lot, from where you can either follow the hiking trail back to Zernez or take the PostBus for the return journey.
