Description

After an extensive view of the well-maintained harbor and the exemplary park in Kreuzlingen, the excursion begins along the lakeside path of Lake Constance. The first impressions of this impressive body of water accompany us until the end. A look into the distance allows a deep breath, and across the sparkling water, you can spot the German border area on the horizon.

Along the way, you enjoy the changing shoreline landscape, which fringes the lake with wild-growing plants, trees, and dense bushes, then later surprises with barren beach sections and lonely piers. Variety is also provided by the short forest sections you pass through, as well as the stretch between Landschlacht and Güppingen, which passes generous fields.

The idyllic scenes offered along the entire route are additionally enhanced by charming stilt houses rising from the lake. The path also passes numerous lakeside baths and romantic picnic spots. The perfect conclusion to the excursion is in Romanshorn, where you can bid farewell with a last glance at the prominent lake.
