Description
With the steepest funicular in the world, you reach the car-free mountain village Stoos. A chairlift takes you to the starting point of the hike – the Klingenstock. Of course, the ascent is also possible on foot. Those who head west towards Rot Turm and Nollen should be sure-footed and free from fear of heights. Far below, Lake Lucerne accompanies the hike along the ridge to Huserstock. Then it goes zigzagging down the mountain path carved into the rock and secured with chains down to Furggeli. From there, the route leads downhill past an idyllic moor back towards the village.
