Kaien Route

Do you want to see and experience as much as possible on a short route? Then the Kaien Route is just right for you. The starting point for this route is Heiden. Soon you will immerse yourself in an idyllic environment, which presents you with the full beauty of the Appenzeller Vorderland. Over the Bischofsberg and the hamlet of Nasen, you will reach the charming Rehetobel via side roads and field paths. From there, it is only a short climb to the Kaienspitz. Enjoy the beautiful panorama here, which stretches from the city of St. Gallen, over Lake Constance to the Säntis massif and the Appenzellerland. The Kaien Route is rounded off with a descent back to Heiden.
