Jaun Pass - Hundsrügg - Jaun Pass (marked)

From the Jaun Pass parking lot (1,508m) follow the signposts of the snowshoe trail to Oberenegg SAC (1,800m). After an ascent towards Mattenhubel (1,926m) over an elongated ridge and a gentle up and down to the final ascent to Hundsrügg. Once at the top, you have a wonderful 360-degree view of the Gastlosen towards Wildsturbel and down the valley towards Wimmis. The 360° panorama is more impressive than on many higher mountains. On the descent along the ridge, three short uphill sections must be overcome. From Oberenegg, the relatively flat terrain down to the Jaun Pass can be fully enjoyed.
