Jakobshorn mountain station – Stadlersee – Sertig-Dörfli

For the hike, take the Jakobshorn to the mountain station. From the mountain station, you first walk leisurely on a wide service road towards Jatzhütte. Passing the Jatzhütte on the left, follow the signs towards Sertig-Dörfli. After a short ascent on the wide path, you pass Stadlersee. It’s worthwhile to take a short break here on a bench and enjoy the view. At Stadlersee, there is also a barbecue area (wood is provided). Then continue on a narrow hiking trail that is initially a bit rocky but always easy to walk on. Along the entire path, there is a splendid view of the Sertig Valley and the surrounding mountains. After the rocky part, the trail gets greener, and you walk right through magnificent fields full of alpine roses. The last stretch passes through a forest full of larches and Swiss stone pines before you see the small village of Sertig ahead. In the end, a wide service road leads to the Sertig Valley road. Just a few meters to the destination. Right at the bus stop is the Bergführer restaurant, which offers local specialties. Return to Davos comfortably by post bus.
