Description

When getting off the post bus, the view wanders toward Central Switzerland with Pilatus, Stanser- and Buochserhorn. The path also winds past the holiday home Ribihütte to the first ascent towards Rotspitz. The summit ascent is left on the right and the Heimegg is reached on flatter terrain. Now follows a strenuous climb with some high steps. Once reached the top, a breathtaking 360° panorama opens and the highest point of this route is reached. Towards Haglere, the mountain path leads past the Teufimattsattel. Beautiful views repeatedly open up of the rockslide area, the village of Sörenberg, and the high mountain peaks. The following section leads through several raised bogs and offers a view of Flühli from Bleikenchopf. On the descent to Holzhack, a short section of hard surface must be mastered. The narrow path descends steeply through light forest to Chessiloch. A detour of about 20 minutes is worthwhile to admire the waterfalls of the Seebach. The last part of this scenic mountain hike runs on hard surface. Information boards along the way describe the glassblowing industry of the 18th century in the Flühli area. Those who still have energy can visit the Kneipp facility Schwandalp. The last section leads along the Waldemme to the Flühli post office.
