In the footsteps of the celebrities of the Untersee

This day route is recommended from July - September, preferably on Saturday or Sunday. On all other weekdays the Adolf Dietrich House is not open, only the garden is freely accessible. The recommended start time is 10 am. The total distance is approx. 10 km. After visiting the Hesse Museum Gaienhofen, you pass the Mia and Hermann Hesse House after 1 km and reach the Museum Haus Dix in Hemmenhofen after another 1.5 km. By ship you travel from Hemmenhofen to Mannenbach. A 20-minute walk takes you to Schloss Arenenberg. After a tour of the Napoleon Museum, you hike about 1 hour to Berlingen, to the Adolf Dietrich House and Garden. The ship takes you back from Berlingen to Gaienhofen.
