Description
At the starting point, follow the signpost indication Obere Breitwang. After a short stretch on hard surface, you ascend on a path through forest, briefly across a meadow and again through forest. Shortly before the holiday home, a rest area is reached. Here, the Sichle, the pass crossing between Gemmenalphorn and Sigriswiler Rothorn, is clearly visible; it is characterized by its rounded shape. The holiday home was founded in 1917 as a charitable institution for "holiday care" to provide disadvantaged children with a recuperative stay. In 1971, the home was rebuilt as a community project through voluntary work. It is intended to continue serving as an oasis of tranquility and a place for reflection. The route continues on a forest road to Obere Breitwang. Turn right here, now follow the direction Grüenebergpass. After the first section upwards across a pasture, enter the forest where the path zigzags upwards. At a hairpin bend with the junction to Trogehorn, continue straight towards Grüenebergpass. Now follows a scenic section along the slope, first without major elevation changes, then descending. At point 1477, a forest road is reached; the signpost now shows Innereriz/Säge. Now marked as a hiking trail, the route leads zigzag downhill. At Fall, take the field path via Hindere Sol to Innereriz. After a short ascent, the route mostly descends over pastures and shorter sections through forest to Innereriz.
