Impressive May stroll through the Schwarzenburg region

The BLS S6 quickly and comfortably takes us to Mittelhäusern. Passing beautiful farms, you head towards Schwarzwassergraben. Downwards through the forest, past the roaring waterfall, you arrive at the Buffalo in the idyllic Sensegraben. Upstream, past the climbing rocks at the confluence of Schwarzwasser and Sense, you reach the Schwarzwasser bridge. From the bridge, you can admire the rock formations in the stream bed, smoothed over time by erosion. Now follow the often wild Schwarzwasser to the Nidegghöchi - Schwarzenburg junction. Cross a small meadow and steeply ascend through the forest to the well-maintained Nidegg farms and soon reach the Nidegghöchi viewpoint. The magnificent view invites a long rest. The path then continues through fertile fields, past the distinctive Narida building where the popular Farmer sticks are produced, to the farms of Ried. Don't miss the turn left before the original Spycher towards Wahlern / Church – Schwarzenburg. Through the typical, hilly Schwarzenburg landscape, you come to the Wahlern Church, located on a hill spur. Here you enjoy the wonderful view over the Schwarzenburg region and towards our destination Schwarzenburg. It’s worth exploring the sights of the pretty village. Finally, the BLS takes us back home.
