Hohe Buche with wide view

A tip from the Appenzeller magazine: 

The hike from Speicher up to the Hohe Buche is scenically varied. But above all, it offers wide views: over the Appenzell hilly landscape with dispersed farms, the peaks of the Alpstein, and Lake Constance. The hike is mostly over meadows and alpine pastures. You are right in the midst when the farmer brings in his hay and the cows are leisurely ruminating on or along the trail.
