Hiking route Weissenburg – Oberwil

The Morgetebach offers an adventurous variety. A small suspension bridge crosses the stream in the otherwise inaccessible gorge. The extremely steep slope on the other side of the bridge was formerly overcome with wooden ladders and is therefore called Ladder Path. Today, metal stairs lead in a short but steep ascent upwards. Although railings provide secure support, there are deep views in between that can significantly raise the pulse of those who are not completely free of vertigo. The real thrill is yet to come. From Leitereweideni, the Morgetebach is crossed once more – now at an exceptionally airy height.
