Description

10,000 years ago, one of the largest rockslides of all time occurred in the canton of Graubünden. Billions of cubic meters of rock thundered down from the Flimserstein. Part of the debris cone has remained practically unchanged to this day. It is the extensive forest south of Flims. Several turquoise lakes without above-ground inflows or outflows are scattered across the scarcely built-up area, with hills and small valleys in between.
