Description
The monastery church and charming Toggenburg gabled houses form the beautiful village center of St. Peterzell. The small place is also a popular resting place for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. However, this hike does not follow the Way of St. James but the Necker northwards. Following the river, the path leads through small villages and hamlets in the Neckertal and invites you to swim and linger at many quiet spots. In Lütisburg, the Necker flows into the Thur, where a few minutes later the stage goal in Bazenheid is reached.
