Hike from Bazenheid via Chogelhuet to Mosnang

The route starts right in the village at Bazenheid train station. Soon you leave the village atmosphere behind and enjoy the silence of nature along the Hörachbach. After a moderate climb over meadowland, you reach the historic hamlet of Bäbikon, which is under national heritage protection. Here, you can easily imagine how grandparents lived back then. The next village along the route is Müselbach, whose center you do not visit directly, but keep in sight again and again over the next meters. Particularly striking are the small, idyllic wooden chapel and the former schoolhouse with a bell. Upon reaching Chogelhuet, you deserve a break. Enjoy the view over the gentle hills. By the way, did you know that the opposite Schnebelhorn is the highest point of the canton of Zurich? After this short rest, the path passes more farmsteads until the more densely populated area of Mosnang is reached again.
