Hike from Aarau to the Jura heights and to the Gisliflue

The starting point is Aarau Info. You walk through residential areas to Küttigen towards Staffelegg. Then you enter the forest where you walk around the Homberg. North of the ridge, it goes up to the gate and to the beautiful viewpoint of the Gisliflue. Thanks to a cozy fireplace, you can linger here longer.

The return route leads back to the gate and down past Biberstein Castle. From Biberstein, you can either walk along the Aare or return more comfortably by bus (No. 4) to Aarau. A stop at the organic pool Bio Badi Biberstein offers a refreshing cool-down.
