Description

The starting point of this trail is the Jochpass at 2200m a.s.l. To get there, take the Titlis Xpress from Engelberg to Trübsee and ride the short stretch along Trübsee to the chairlift Jochpass. Once you reach the top, the fun starts next to the top station of the Engstlen chairlift on the flowing, 1 metre wide trail towards Engstlenalp. On this bike path, riding fun is in the foreground, harmoniously embedded in the landscape, it is by no means just something for downhill enthusiasts. The chairlift takes you back to the start. So much fun gives hunger and thirst. The Berghuis Jochpass has so much to offer in culinary terms. "Urner Häfelichabis" a traditional stew, homemade corn croquettes, the lukewarm Schoggiküchlein or the Hacktätschli - you are spoilt for choice. It is certainly worth taking a seat on the terrace or fighting for one of the deck chairs. When the day is over, the fun of driving doesn't end there. Back into the valley, you go via the newly created Flowtrail Jochpass-Trübsee (see route description) and from there via Untertrübsee to Engelberg.
