Description
Starting in Lescha at a comfortable 1,310 m above sea level, pulse and perspiration increase alongside approximately 700 altitude meters up to Alp Bischola. The turnoffs from Sarneralpstrasse are partly steep, gravelly, possibly requiring pushing. After the first stop in Parsiras, follow the hiking trail over the Porteiner Alp.
A long, tough ascent (pushing, carrying, consideration) to the culmination point 2019. The numerous marmots along the route cheer with clever applause. Alternatively, the broad alpine roads with gentle inclines via Parsiras, Alp Lüsch, and Bischola are always available.
The panorama in all directions at the 2019 point compensates for the effort of the climb. Six hospitable refreshment stations take care of calories and hydration. The descent to Glasspass over fluffy high trails also exercises the suspension fork a bit. A few counter climbs back to Oberurmein and Lescha complete this great trio route – culinary delights – fitness – culmination.
