Heavenly Paths: Bann Alp - Maria/Rickenbach

The two stages from Engelberg to Maria-Rickenbach require sure-footedness and can only be walked in safe weather during the summer half-year. The hike from Engelberg via Brunni, Ristis leads over the spectacular Walenpfad to Bannalp, where overnight accommodation is possible. The next day, the journey continues first by cable car down into the valley.

There, shortly before Oberrickenbach, our today's route begins upon leaving the cable car and offers us another ascent to the Haldigrat and from there to Maria-Rickenbach.
