Habkern - Waldegg - Beatenberg

This circular route first takes you from Interlaken to Habkern. The climb is indeed brisk but manageable. From Habkern, you follow a scenic high-altitude route to Waldegg and on to Beatenberg. The unique view of the impressive mountain landscape with Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as the beautifully blue Lake Thun is stunning. The descent back to Interlaken is fast, but also requires your concentration due to oncoming traffic.
