Description
The start point of this circular route is Schwarzwaldalp. You leave it heading southwest and walk along the road through the Black Forest to Schwandboden, passing Alpiglen to Tannensee until you reach Grosse Scheidegg. It continues northwest following the ridge past the Chiemattenhubla up to Gratschärem, the highest point of this route. Between Gr. Scheidegg and Gratschärm, there is a view of the Grindelwald Valley. After enjoying the magnificent view, the descent follows over Spycherboden and Scheidegg Oberläger and finally to Bidem. From there you continue along the summer hiking trail through the Black Forest back to Schwarzwaldalp.
