Description

From the Grimsel Pass we step directly onto the Oberaar Glacier; and will start the second day with the climb to the Oberaarhorn. The crossing from the Oberaarjochhütte to the Finsteraarhorn Hütte is a high alpine challenge. Via the Fiescher Glacier and Grünhornlücke we arrive at Konkordiaplatz, the overwhelming junction of four glaciers. The climb of the Ebnefluh (3962m) is the cherry on top. The long daily stages demand a high level of fitness. A few days acclimatising at altitude are a prerequisite for optimal holiday enjoyment.
