Description
First, you take the Gotschnabahn comfortably up to the Gotschnagrat mountain station. There, you follow the forest road before turning right onto the hiking trail. Here you have a breathtaking view of the Prättigau and the surrounding mountain peaks.
The trail is flowy but has a few technical "crunch points." There is a short ascent before it goes downhill from there. You continue through some hairpin bends towards Chalbersäss. After Chalbersäss, you reach the tree line. From here, there are many roots on the trail, and it becomes more technical until you pass the Serneuser Schwendi. Now follows another short section on a forest road before you turn again onto a narrow hiking trail. This section through a forest is once again full of roots and technical passages until you reach a forest road again. On this forest road (Rütipromenade), you then roll back comfortably to the valley station of the Gotschnabahn in Klosters.
