Description

The smallest nut cake in the world, the origin of the Rhine, the only lighthouse in the Alps, and the beginning of Uri. There's a lot on offer again on this stage. The Glacier Bike Tour runs from Disentis in a scenic hillside location on a secluded, beautiful forest path along the route of the Rhaetian Railway.

This way, you almost imperceptibly gain altitude on the way to the Oberalp Pass. The route of the Glacier Bike Tour leads up to the Oberalp Pass on forest roads away from the road.

At the Oberalp Pass at 2,044 meters, not only the obligatory “pass photo” at the Oberalp Pass sign awaits, but also the only lighthouse in the Alps.

Now it goes west of the road along the Oberalp Lake (please be considerate of anglers and walkers) to Uri and down the road, hairpin after hairpin, to Andermatt. The view already falls into the Ursern valley, where the next stage will lead to the next pass. But now it’s time to enjoy the descent and roll into Andermatt.
