Glacier Bike Tour

Starting from St. Moritz, this e-bike tour takes you to the heart of the Swiss Alps across three cantons, by three legendary passes, along three iconic rivers, to the famous village of Zermatt. While the first seven stages lead cyclists from the upper Engadine valley to Andermatt, crossing the Furka Pass marks entry into Valais at the highest point of the tour, at 2429 meters altitude. Highlights are plenty, including a key moment near the Rhone Glacier, where the river starts before becoming the most important river in France, hundreds of kilometers further. From mountainous landscapes to vineyards, glaciers to forests, alpine parks to plain cities, along rivers to the heart of valleys, Valais reveals a varied and thrilling route, crossing the magnificent Conches valley, the Binntal, and the town of Visp (Viège) before climbing up to the Zermatt valley for a beautiful arrival at the foot of the Matterhorn.
