Giubiasco – Carena climb

The climb from Giubiasco to Carena, with the option to continue to Alpe Giumello, is a captivating route in the heart of Ticino, ideal for those who enjoy cycling surrounded by nature and away from traffic. In its full length, the route covers 16.41 km, with a total ascent of 1,359 metres and only 20 metres of descent, making it an almost entirely uphill ride. It starts at 248 metres and reaches 967 metres in Carena, then continues towards Alpe Giumello, where the landscape becomes even more open and scenic.
