From Weissbad to Fähnerenspitz

Following nature's trail, the circular hike follows the course of the picturesque Brüelbach from Weissbad through the Chlustobel to Brülisau. Before turning right to the church, we briefly continue unmarked to the left along Horstbach to the Bruder Klaus Chapel and further on the chapel path to the bridge. With panoramic views over Brülisau to Ebenalp and Säntis, we climb towards Hohen Kasten to the mountain inn Ruhesitz. Another place to stop is the Diepoldsauer Schwamm before reaching the idyllic Forstseeli with a large barbecue area. Over the Resspass follows the ascent to the scenic Fähnerenspitz (1505 m). Meadow paths lead downhill again to Restaurant Eggli. Until Steinegg, we must watch the path markings to Restaurant Schlössli and finally pass it on the left towards Weissbad and along the Sitter back to the station.
