From the Albigna hut to the Forno valley

The blue-white marked hiking trail passes small lakes, over rocky rubble ridges, loose scree, and rock slabs. From Pass Casnil Sud you can enjoy a magnificent view and look directly at the impressive north face of Cima dal Cantun and the entire glaciated Forno basin. If you're lucky, you can even observe ibex. Good surefootedness is required, but chains and climbing aids are installed at the most difficult places. The chains are usually installed at the beginning of summer.

Can be planned as a multi-day route with overnight stays at the Albigna or Forno hut. Or as a one-day route without ascent to the Forno hut.
