Description
The Bantiger transmission tower simply belongs to the Worblental. Once you have mastered the 154 steps and are standing on the 42.2 m high visitor platform, the towns look small as your gaze stretches far beyond the region.
Although some elevation must be overcome at the start of the hike from Stettlen station, the landscape on the way to Bantiger rewards the effort. The path goes over fields and leads further up to the main road. You have to walk a short stretch along the main road to the Cholgruebe parking lot. From there, it is no longer open to traffic. So you can hike along the lane up to the Bantiger transmission tower. The path from the Bantiger transmission tower continues down some natural steps from the barbecue area. Then through the forest, again over fields to Bantigen, continuing via Flugbrunnen down to Bolligen station.
