From Rasa - Pizzo Leone - Corona dei Pinci to Ronco sopra Ascona

Take the Centovalli train to Verdasio and from there a cable car to Rasa. From Rasa, the route leads to the hamlet of Monti and the Alp Termine. From here, the path climbs significantly and through a beautiful chestnut forest reaches Pizzo Leone. Here you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° panorama from Lake Maggiore across the Magadino plain and to the mountain range beyond. On the scenic high trail, you follow the ridge with a slight descent to Alpe di Naccio and further to Corona di Pinz. The descent takes place on numerous switchbacks via Monti di Schiavardo and Porera to Ronco Sopra, Ascona.
