Description
The varied route begins at the BLS stop Hüswil. You follow the marked path of the Lucerne hiking trails in the direction of Schönetüel. Passing the church, after a short ascent, you reach a plateau. Worthwhile is a look back over the beautiful hilly landscape of the hinterland, into the Napf area towards Schratteflue, the Pilatus range, and the Rigi. At the signpost location Schönetüel (735 m) the view opens over the Central Plateau to the Jura. From here, you can shorten the route by 35 minutes by going directly to Gondiswil. For the full route, continue in the direction of Schwandmatt and in a few minutes you reach the large Schönetüel farm with its well-kept, beautiful buildings. The path then leads in large arcs through the quiet hilly landscape, partly through forest, passing the farms Vorderklus, Klus, Vorderschöetüel, and Schwangenweid. After Schwangenweid, in the forest at the junction towards Gondiswil, hike on. Soon you reach, now in the canton of Bern, passing the farms Pfistergrabe and Lindegraben, the rapidly growing village of Gondiswil. Now you follow the border path "Napfbergland Route 65" towards Huttwil. Shortly after Gondiswil, an idyllic pond invites you to a well-deserved rest. Across the gently rolling, fertile landscape, past comfortable farms, you reach the destination, the pretty small town of Huttwil.
