From Leissigen high above Lake Thun

This varied hike starts in the small village of Leissigen on the shores of Lake Thun. After a short ascent, the trail leads high above the lake and offers spectacular views of the deep blue water, the opposite shore and the Bernese Alps. The highlight of the tour is the 140-metre-long suspension bridge over the Spissibach gorge - an impressive structure in the midst of wild nature. The crossing is well secured and provides a floating feeling with a clear view into the depths. Several benches and viewpoints along the way invite you to pause for a moment.
