From Lavin to Guarda

From Lavin to Guarda is just a five-minute ride on the Rhaetian Railway. On the paths of Via Engiadina, more than 14 km and almost 1,000 meters of elevation must be overcome between the two places. Lavin is a farming village on the Inn. To Alp d’Immez, Via Engiadina follows the Val Lavinouz. Then the path leads uphill to the right past blueberry bushes above the tree line. At the signpost, leave Via Engiadina, which continues towards Alp Suot. From here it goes downhill towards Guarda, first through a forested area, then across meadows to the rushing stream La Clozza. At the entrance to Guarda, you should definitely slow your hiking pace, as there is much to discover in Guarda.
