Flawil Border Trail

Over meadows and the high ridges of the Upper Area, through forests and the picturesque river landscape of the Glatt-Wissenbach - the multi-hour hike shows all facets of the municipality of Flawil. Due to the topography, a real border path is not possible, so the scenic and idyllic route mostly follows existing hiking trails as close as possible to the municipal boundary. Ideally, you take the post bus from Flawil train station to Magdenau or Wolfertswil and complete the approximately 24.5-kilometer circular hike in two halves.
