Filfalle route - Kandersteg village

The route follows the railway line briefly and continues along the idyllic Kander river to the International Scout Centre. Via the newly created winter hiking trail across the meadow, you reach Eggeschwand (valley station of the Sunnbüel cable car). Cross the main road and stroll into the wonderful "Filfalle" area. There you find yourself amidst the popular 5 km cross-country ski trail and can experience the charm of Nordic skiing up close. At the Waldhotel Doldenhorn, hike to the country inn Ruedihus, along the BLS railway line back to the station.
