Farnihubelweg

Follow the orange signpost no. 3 «Farnihubelweg». The Farnihubelweg starts at the village square of Iseltwald. From there, you stroll leisurely along the lakeside path until a climb leads you onto the upper Giessbachweg. The path winds through the forest along the rocks; various types of ferns grow here, which presumably gave the area its name. Upon arrival at the Farnihubel viewpoint, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the turquoise Lake Brienz and the distinctive Seeburg at the end of the peninsula. Take the upper hiking trail back through the forest to the village.
