"Family Run" Bussalp - Rasthysi - Lochsteinen (No. 56)

First, take one of the yellow buses from Grindelwald Bus from the village towards Bussalp. The bus driver explains during the journey to Bussalp what to pay attention to while sledding.

The Family Run starts from Bussalp on the road towards Holzmattenläger. At Holzmattenläger, you first walk slightly uphill and then continue alternating between sledding downhill and uphill towards Rasthysi. Upon reaching Rasthysi, a fun descent follows towards Lochsteinen. On the Family Run from Holzmattenläger to Lochsteinen, no buses come the other way, allowing you to fully enjoy the peace and nature. You are always rewarded with the magnificent view of the surrounding mountain scenery of the Grindelwald valley.

At Lochsteinen, you can either take the bus back up to Bussalp or continue sledding down on the City-Run towards Weidli. Depending on snow conditions, you can even sled back to the village.
