Experience the Rhine: To the Old Rhine and the Petite Camarque Alsacienne

The route goes through city - industry - pure nature. Along the way, we ride through Switzerland, Germany, and France. We experience a lot of variety in a small area just outside the gates of Basel.

In dry weather, a detour on the power plant island (from the German side, immediately after crossing the Old Rhine dam and the new small hydroelectric power plant there) can also be worthwhile along the very bumpy path along the Old Rhine. There, the route runs almost entirely through the forest and repeatedly opens up beautiful views of the Old Rhine. On the left side is a part of the Petite Camarque with various observation points.
