Dwarf Bartli Adventure Trail

Children from half of Europe travel with their parents to the car-free Braunwald and follow in the footsteps of dwarf Bartli.

They visit the small wooden house of Aunt Tiidi at the mighty "Brummbach" waterfall, who once mended the dwarf’s pants. Also at the gem cleft, where Bartli found the bright red gemstone, his pickaxe and mining lamp can still be found. One might think he just jumped out of the miniature gorge. Maybe up into his cave, where his little table and bed stand? He can’t be far here either, because the mining lamp still flickers and on the little plate there is still some of his snack that children have left for him.

If he is not at home, you may meet him in the dwarf castle by the impressive cleft in the rock, where the throne of the dwarf king stands, the candles burn, and the last flowers from the big dwarf ball lie in the hall of mirrors.

You can visit the adventures of dwarf Bartli from mid-June until the end of October. During this time, the signposting is in place and the scenes are equipped with details.

Several fire pits invite you to roast sausages on the way.

In winter, dwarf Bartli hibernates. Then it is best to read the book "Der Zwäärg Baartli"!
