Duranna-Run

Description
The route starts at the mountain station of the 2nd section of the Parsennbahn on the Weissfluhjoch at around 2,600 meters above sea level. The first part of the route is characterized by a rocky landscape at the foot of the rocky Weissfluh summit. The surroundings resemble a lunar landscape and seem almost surreal. From the Kreuzweg junction, the environment becomes somewhat gentler – while the trail becomes more challenging. It leads over the Casanna Pass down to the idyllic Grüensee, which is nestled in a beautiful raised bog landscape and forms a perfect contrast to the rocky landscape at the start of the route. On a well-ridable path, you cross the high plateau of the Duranna Pass to the Alp Obersäss. Then the path leads down to the Fideriser Duranna and continues to Birchenbüelen. From there, it continues down to Plandagorz. The destination in Küblis is about 600 meters lower from here. The path winds from there to the banks of the Landquart on the edge of Küblis, where you have completed about 15 kilometers of descent. Back to Davos or Klosters is then by Rhätische Bahn.
