Dreilaufbuchen circular hike

The route starts at the Liestal Kessel bus stop and soon follows the first highlight along the way. You can visit part of the Roman aqueduct which ran from Lausen to Augusta Raurica. Passing the Kaufmann vineyard (where you can buy wine and must directly from the farm at any time), it goes steadily uphill above the Elbisgraben to the Liestal lookout tower. It is definitely worth climbing the lookout tower. There you will find a great view of the Basel region and, in good visibility, up to the mountains. The path continues pleasantly downhill back to the viewpoint.
