Davos Sertig Loop

Description
The route starts in the Sertigtal, a quiet side valley of Davos, and leads from there over steep trails into the Ducantal. The valley offers a wide, open landscape with a breathtaking panorama. A beautiful single trail winds along the valley up to Fanezfurgga, a 2,580-metre-high pass, which is followed by a long, fast downhill section to the idyllic Oberalp. Stop! Here you have to make a decision. Our route now crosses the Oberalp and continues north. However, you can make a worthwhile detour to Monstein, where you lose around 300 metres in altitude.
Monstein, situated at 1,620 metres, is home to just 200 inhabitants who live here all year round. And, a brewery. Monsteiner is a beer you should definitely try on your way through the village. After tasting the local brew, you can either take the trail back to Oberalp or follow the forest path and gravel road to rejoin the route.
Once back on the route, the path leads through the forest to the mountain station of the Rinerhorn cable car. From there it goes along a gravel road to Äbirügg, from where it then goes along a fantastic single trail back to the starting point in Sertig.
