Description
After a few metres of skinning through the holiday settlement Plaun la Crusch, the skis are put on. On the summer path and later in the area of the hiking trail it goes to Alp Crap Ner Sut. Perhaps you can find a cosy rest spot in front of the hut there. After 650 metres elevation gain you have probably earned it! Along the forest and bush line and under small rock walls we pull the tracks ever higher up the mountain. In the Schigels area, the increasingly steep slopes demand more and more attention and orientation ability. Good visibility is mandatory here.
About 150 metres before the summit it may become a bit flatter again before the very steep summit slope follows at the end. This reaches over 40 degrees steepness in parts.
The entire tour requires experience in assessing avalanche danger, weather and tour planning. Those who have a safe day and can ski well will experience a great ski route in alpine terrain.
