Council round trip

Right at the start, the stately Frauenfeld Castle towers over the town. It houses the Historical Museum. Next, you head to Kartause Ittingen. Through the Seebach valley, you now cycle around the three idyllic lakes near Nussbaumen before the route climbs up to Herdern on the Seerücken. All efforts are rewarded with an impressive view of the Alpstein massif.

Finally, the bike ride leads down to Pfyn, a small town with a rich pile-dweller and Roman past, and through the Thur valley back to Frauenfeld.
