Description
The approximately three-hour hike starts at the Murtèl mid-station, which you can conveniently reach with the Corvatsch cable car from Surlej. The path first leads down to Lej da la Fuorcla. After a small ascent, the path intersects with the one to Fuorcla Surlej. We follow the path down to Hahnensee, but a short pause to enjoy the view is definitely worth it. Then it continues steeply down a scree slope and through moorlands to the Hahnensee restaurant, which is idyllically located on the moor lake Lej dals Chöds. An area where the black grouse mates during the mating season. This place spoils you not only culinarily but also with a fantastic view. It is worth taking a break there, simply enjoying the calm and watching the dragonflies. From the Hahnensee restaurant, it then goes steeply down through the forest, first on a narrow path which then leads to a wide path. At the second junction, you leave the wide path on the left and reach Lej Nair and further on to Lej Marsch. At both lakes, tired feet can be bathed or those who wish can also swim a round in the moor lakes. Fireplaces also invite you to a well-deserved picnic.
