Circular route Willisau - Wyher Water Castle - Alberswil

From Willisau station, we ride past the outdoor pool to the Planet Trail and follow it to Wydenmüli. At the junction with the cantonal road, we leave route 38 and turn right onto the bike-pedestrian path to Ettiswil. At the village entrance, we follow the road turning right towards Brästenegg. We make a stop at the well-kept Hofladen 1616 and stock up on souvenirs. After about four hundred meters, we turn left and reach the Wyher Water Castle. 

We cross the cantonal road and reach the Buchwald Nature Reserve. Following the little stream Rot, we ride north until the junction with the cantonal road. There we turn left and follow route 94 through Ettiswil via Alberswil and the Agrovision Organic Farm and the Burgrain Agricultural Museum. A detour on foot to the Kastelen Castle Ruins is well worth it! 

From the Burgrain Museum, we follow the signs for routes 38/94 past Gettnau to Briseck near Zell. There we follow the cantonal road over the railway overpass. About a hundred meters before the roundabout, we turn left towards Willisau. Now we follow the signs for the Heart Route over the scenic Stocki hill to Willisau.
